Built for Uganda. Designed to scale.
Scholanet is being developed in Uganda with an architecture intended to support education and digital transformation priorities while remaining adaptable for future regional expansion.
SDG 4 — Quality Education
Contribute through learning access, school digitalisation, teacher support and education opportunity discovery.
SDG 5 — Gender Equality
Potentially support targeted access and opportunity programmes for girls and young women.
SDG 8 — Decent Work
Connect learners and educators to skills, internships, jobs and professional opportunities.
SDG 9 — Innovation & Infrastructure
Develop shared digital education infrastructure rather than isolated tools.
SDG 10 — Reduced Inequalities
Prioritise low-data, mobile-first and accessible experiences.
SDG 17 — Partnerships
Enable collaboration across government, schools, NGOs, foundations, businesses and institutions.
Credibility rule
Scholanet should say its ecosystem is designed to contribute to relevant development goals. It should not claim to “solve” an SDG or imply endorsement by a government or development organisation without evidence.
Uganda first → East Africa → Africa
Country-specific configuration — including currency, education systems, employment rules, procurement rules, geographic structures and languages — should remain separated from the core platform as the ecosystem scales.
